A New Generation of Disinfectant & Deodorizer!
The automation and optimization of the Scienco® Danolyte® Generator producing a potent, “EPA N-Listed registered disinfectant that is deadly to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses, yet safe to humans and the environment is what sets our equipment apart.
Scienco® Danolyte® Sodium Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) generator is for use across a broad spectrum of applications, yet gentle enough for use on baby toys and around pets. Our unique technology offers innovative disinfection, sanitizing and deodorizing solutions for many industries including water treatment, agriculture, oil and gas, healthcare, education, and food service/processing.
The Scienco® Danolyte® Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) Generator System:
- Uses natural salt minerals and water to be environmentally friendly – Safe and non-toxic for people, animals, and plants
- Kills 99.9% of every pathogen; including E. Coli, Pseudomonas, Enterococcus, C. Diff- spore, and Staphylococcus
- Highly effective in removing biofilm; eradicating molds/fungus
- Leaves no harmful residuals
- System optimized for energy-saving
This system (DJIT 1000 shown) was developed by Danolyte Global for various cleaning and disinfection applications. The technology is based on the principles of electrolysis of water. For detailed instructions regarding specific applications, please contact the manufacturer or your distributor.
How It Works:
The SCIENCO DANOLYTE “JUST IN TIME” system is composed of an Electrical Cabinet and a Hydraulic Cabinet. The system uses an electrolytic cell to activate a brine solution.
The system is designed to be supplied with softened water at 0 degrees F. The production capacity varies by the type of cell installed in the unit The cell current between the electrodes varies the redox potential, pH, and active chlorine.
The default set up will produce 80% Anolyte and 20% Catholyte. The Anolyte is produced between 6 5 and 7 pH, with ORP of approximately 900 mV, containing approximately 500 mg/l of active chlorine The Catholyte is alkaline, with a pH between 11 and 12.
Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl) produced onsite from a Scienco Danolyte “DJIT” system typically has a pH of 6.5. At this pH more than 90% of the free available chlorine is HOCl, less than 10% OCL- and no CL2 are formed. The concentration of Free Available Chlorine (FAC) is 500+ PPM. The automation and optimization of producing a potent, EPA registered disinfectant that is deadly to 99.9% of bacteria and viruses , yet safe and non-toxic to humans and the environment is what sets our equipment apart.

Healthcare and Hospitality
Healthcare and Hospitality
Scienco® Danolyte® was tested for efficacy using AOAC testing methods for hospital disinfection and OSHA’s “Blood-borne Pathogen Standards”. Scienco Danolyte is a one-step disinfectant cleaner designed for general cleaning and disinfecting hard, non-porous environmental surfaces in health care facilities. Scienco Danolyte contains no alcohol, dyes, fragrances, phenols, VOCs, harsh fumes, or harsh chemicals.
Disinfection and Sterilization in Hospitals & Clinics
Scienco Danolyte provides thorough disinfection in open spaces, especially operating rooms, patient rooms, and common areas. Scienco Danolyte’s is most effectively applied electrostatically, giving more complete and thorough coverage of all surfaces, including underneath objects such as hand and bed rails, tabletops and other furniture. Many other chemical cleaners contain volatile compounds unsuited for this application method, and those same compounds may damage furniture, adding to the customer’s expense. Scienco Danolyte is non-corrosive and is suitable for disinfecting hard, non-porous environmental surfaces.
Healthcare Setting
- Long-term Care Facilities, Nursing Homes
- Dialysis Facilities
- Blood and Plasma Facilities
- Alternate Care Sites
- Dental Settings
- Pharmacies
- Outpatient and ambulatory care facilities
- Postmortem Care
Scienco Danolyte can be used as a sanitizer to eliminate bacteria and viruses that lurk on surfaces frequently touched by multiple people. More frequent cleaning and disinfection may be required based on level of use. For example, certain surfaces and objects in public spaces, such as shopping carts and point of sale keypads, should be cleaned and disinfected before each use. Scienco Danolyte also eliminates biofilm in the water pipes and build-up in cooling towers used in most large commercial and residential buildings, industrial power generation units, and chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries to reject waste heat to the environment.
Natural Resources

Oil and Gas
Scienco® Danolyte® and Catholyte provide the oil and gas industry with increased productivity due to improved extraction performance of the fluids used for drilling. Scienco Danolyte is the ideal alternative to replace traditional disinfectants that are corrosive and leave behind harmful residuals that may pollute groundwater. Treating water used in oil extraction with Catholyte lowers its surface tension and thereby increases its extraction capacity. Our generators provide the large-scale production necessary for these water-intensive applications.
Fracking Operations
With the goal of protecting the environment and maximizing the recovery of water used for fracturing oil well deposits, Scienco Danolyte® has developed technology that includes the following:
Disinfection with Scienco Danolyte®
- Precipitation of suspended solids and metals
- Desulphurization
- Clarification
- Oil/Water separation
These modular systems can be tailored to the facility and the unique needs for water recovery. The use of Scienco Danolyte® is the key component in the entire process, eliminating the problems associated with aldehydes and other traditional chemical pollutants. Additionally, Scienco Danolyte’s® high oxidative power ensures high levels of disinfection.

Livestock
Scienco® Danolyte® can be used to disinfect water used in in livestock feeding operations, which in turn reduces mortality rates, enhances feed conversion and improves overall productivity. Scienco Danolyte® has also been employed in misters for environmental disinfection in livestock buildings as well as disinfection of milking systems and other equipment that is sensitive to microbial contamination.
Crop Production
The only active ingredient in Scienco Danolyte® (hypochlorous acid) has been approved by the USDA for use as an algaecide, disinfectant, and sanitizer in organic crop and livestock production, and for use in disinfecting and sanitizing equipment and facilities in organic handling and processing. Scienco Danolyte meets the requirement of the FDA and USDA for a non-rinse sanitizing solution.
